Computer Science & Engineering

Department of Computer Science & Engineering is started in the year of 2009 to cater the needs of the Western Odisha region. The department offers students an undergraduate program which is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Rourkela. Here the students gain breadth and depth of knowledge in a multitude of computing specialities and are well prepared for industry positions as well as academic positions. The Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Computer Science & Engineering commenced from the academic year 2009-10. The current student intake capacity is 60.

The department is continuously trying to improve the programme delivery to keep our graduates competitive in the job market. The department is known for its excellent results. There are seven well-equipped laboratories in the department. After graduation, the department continues to enjoy strong interaction and support from the alumni. The Faculty consists of Head of the Department and Assistant Professors.

Our dedicated faculty, who not only strive to excel in the classrooms but also are always there to help the students. The department has enthusiastic faculty members who provide expertise in their areas of interests which are major areas of Computer Science & Engineering.
